Most of the anxiety about treatment abroad is not about the procedure. It is about the unknowns around it: airports, taxis, forms, a city you do not know. This guide walks through a typical visit so that nothing on the itinerary is a surprise. The exact schedule is confirmed for your case before you book anything.
Before you fly
The visit starts at home. Your reports and measurements are reviewed remotely, the treatment plan is discussed, and the visit is scheduled only when the clinical team confirms you are a candidate. You receive the plan in writing: appointments, addresses and what each day is for.
Arrival and assessment
You are met at the airport and taken to your hotel. The first clinic day is the full assessment: measurements are repeated on site, the surgeon examines your eyes and the final lens or treatment decision is made together with you. Nothing proceeds until you have had your questions answered in person.
The procedure day
The procedure day is shorter than most patients expect. You arrive prepared, the operation itself takes minutes per eye, and you rest at the clinic before returning to the hotel with your medication schedule and protective wear.
Control and departure
A follow-up examination confirms the early result before you are cleared to fly. You leave with your records, your medication plan and the follow-up schedule for the European office nearest to you. From landing to landing, the coordination team is one message away.
Questions people ask
Can someone come with me?
Yes, and for most patients it is a good idea. Ask your coordinator about companion arrangements when planning the visit.
Do I need to speak Turkish or English?
No. Coordination is available in the languages listed on the contact page, and your coordinator accompanies the appointments that need translation.
